Ladies of Shakespeare

Too often, Shakespeare is associated with pretentious snobs, whose other interests include "philosophy" and "wine tasting." In fact, Will hung out with drunks in bars, and his plays were considered low-brow entertainment for his time. His works are packed with sword fights, magic, innuendos, and all kinds of things you're not supposed to find in "high literature." He has a character named Bottom who ends up with the head of an ass.

Anyway, here is my personal interpretation of Shakespeare's female characters, done in a Disney-like style.

Beatrice, the original feisty rom-com lead lady ("Much Ado About Nothing")

Beatrice's innocent young cousin Hero, who's, he-hrem, "nothing," is the subject of the play's title.
